ABOUT THE POSITION:
We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven Market Engagement Manager to play a key role in expanding Newry’s client base across multiple industries. This individual will drive client results for Newry projects by owning and leading customer sales outreach campaigns throughout the entire sales cycle. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is motivated by the challenge of driving impactful growth.
The responsibilities of the position are:
- Support growth projects on behalf of clients: Assist clients in selling products to current, prospective, or newly identified customers. Depending on the project stage and assignment, the NBD manager will embed with consulting project teams and/or our client sales teams.
- Generate and nurture leads: identifying targets, making connections, pitching Newry or our clients, managing relationships from initial contact to purchase order by serving as a client advocate to ensuring exceptional customer experiences throughout the business development process
- Maintain and deepen client and customer relationships over the long term by developing connections across client organizations
- Participate in conferences, industry events, and other networking opportunities to build awareness of Newry and maintain contacts over time
- Maintain organized and transparent sales workflow processes using CRM and project management platforms
- Act as an engine for growth as a “self-starter” who can plug in and collaborate across our teams and our clients as needed.

- A background that demonstrates command of both advanced technology (e.g., highly engineered products, materials science, etc.) and business concepts, as well as the ability to understand the commercial viability of products.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Travel flexibility, including international travel.
- Based in Cleveland, with hybrid and remote work options available—remote applicants are encouraged to apply.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from a competitive undergraduate program in a field such as business, economics, marketing, sciences or engineering.
- Solid sales experience and a proven track record of disciplined sales process and consultative sales success; evidence of sales capability in other roles could be considered.
